Flat, fairly, scenic, got warmish, very windy. Tim said it was "Brutal" and he was`whipped at the end. We're all happy to have got through with minor damage. Off to PF Changs for dinner. Returning tomorrow,

Yes, it was Tim's birthday. I asked the race director to give him bib number 60, and he obliged. Tim's bid had a sticker on it saying he was level 2 elite and could line up right behind the Kenyans. He didn't, but I can imagine the other elite runners looking at each other, as Tim joins them, and saying, "Who's this guy? He looks like he's 60 years old!!!". |
